1. How long have you worked in the Small Business Banking space?
I’ve been in small business banking for over 15 years. I’ve worked with everyone from brand-new entrepreneurs to owners who are ready to scale, and I love helping them get clear on what’s next. These days, a big part of my work is through the @Chase for Business Coaching for Impact program, where we go beyond the day-to-day and dig into things like operations, credit readiness, and growth planning.
2. Why small business banking?
I enjoy working with business owners because of the impact they have on our communities. Small businesses create access to products and services, employ our neighbors, and consistently give back in ways that strengthen local economies. That makes the work tremendously meaningful and personal.
3. What are you looking forward to in the small business banking space this year?
As businesses look to grow and scale, having access to the right financial resources, and trusted partners to help them think through decisions, can make a significant difference. I'm looking forward to continued progress in how we support small business owners with tailored tools and guidance that are practical and easy to navigate.
4. Could you share a success story from your time as a small business banker?
One client had a great brand and a loyal customer base, and they’d been operating successfully for about nine years, but they knew it was time to level up. We worked together to get really clear on priorities, tighten up the operational side, and line that up with their financial goals. Once we built a simple roadmap with milestones, they were in a much better position to grow in a way that actually fit the business.
