Franconia Pediatrics and Atlantic Union Bank

For 10 years, Franconia Pediatrics has been serving the families of Northern Virginia. In all this time, Dr. Sushant Navalkar has worked closely with Atlantic Union Bank as a trusted partner for all his practices’ financial needs.

“They were very helpful”, Dr. Navalkar says, remembering when he first contacted Atlantic Union over a decade ago, who at the time were known as Access National Bank. “They were on top of everything, and asked pertinent questions,” helping Dr. Navalkar navigate the opening of his pediatric center.

Dr. Navalkar interviewed three banks before choosing Atlantic Union, and while he was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism, what convinced him to stay with Atlantic Union over the years were the individuals he’s worked with.

“As time went on and our experience together grew even more, [Atlantic Union Bank] became part of my own ‘family’ because I felt I could talk to them about anything related to the business”.

When asked about employees who helped him through his business journey, Dr. Navalkar mentions the work of Mansour Ajroud in helping Franconia Pediatrics refinance. “He was fantastic” Mansour has helped walk Dr. Navalkar through financial decisions, ensuring that Atlantic Union is able meet his needs at every step of the way.

“I know [Mansour is] a busy guy because he’s moved up in the ranks, but he still takes the time to say hello to make sure I’m doing all right,” Dr. Navalkar says, noting that he has continued to recommend other doctors to Atlantic Union for their business needs.

Dr. Navalkar does plan to expand his practice in the future, and he says that it is a work in progress, “I know that when I’m looking to expand that I’m going to use Atlantic Union as the basis for my funding to help with opening a new practice”.
